Headless images come in four sub-flavors: aarch64 (64-bit ARMv8) userspace, aarch64 (64-bit ARMv8) userspace with 3D GLES, armhf (32-bit ARMv7) userspace, armhf (32-bit ARMv7) userspace with 3D GLES

The headless images are for server and applications without GUI that demand the most performance. There are other variants for advanced users with special needs. you can find those images in the current directory.

The XFCE images are for those looking for a fast user interface.

The LXDE images are for those looking for an even faster user interface. It is more minimalistic in its choice of programs.

GUI images require a few minutes to perform some setup on first boot. Subsequent boots are much faster.

We recommend Win32DiskImager or Etcher for flashing these images on a USB hard drive, key, or card reader and connect it to the USB port farthest away from the IR sensor.

If you would like to transfer the factory image to eMMC, please check out our forum. You can also use the `sudo lc_distro_transfer` utility included in the images.

All images with Mali come with DRM, X11, Wayland, and FBDEV variants. Please use the update-alternatives system to install and select them.
